hit the reset button

Reader,

I don't know about you but this upcoming full moon seems to be stirring up a lot of energy and emotions. I have been slowly following the cycles of the moon again and learning how it can be useful to apply to seasons and change.

Many people I know are just ready for growth and up-leveling. Are you?

It's June 1st, and we are 6 months into the year. It's one of the moments where we can pause, reflect on the last 6 months and reflect.

This can also be a moment to hit the reset button. We don't have to keep going in the direction we've been driving in. It is possible to just say, "I'm ready to hit the reset button".

Explore new possibilities, new thoughts, and ideas. Entertain the impossible. Engage your imagination and reimagine the next 6 months of your life.

What do you see for yourself? This is a great intuitive exercise to reconnect to you and your greater vision.

Who is around you? What are you creating? What did you let go of? What did you embrace? What is keeping you stuck and how can you start shifting those beliefs to support your heart's desires?

I love to do a personal inventory.

It's like cleaning house. I examine my results and then I look at my behaviors and thoughts that led me there. Am I getting the results I want? If not, how can I change it so that I can get the results I want?

I hope this inspires you to hit the reset button.

Lots of love,

Emily

Reader, When a loved one passes it can stir up lots of feelings depending on the relationship. You might feel physical pain from the loss. You might avoid and completely distract yourself with work or taking care of the "business" of things they left behind. Everyone has different ways of coping. Then there is the anniversaries, the holidays, and traditions that change. Sometimes you don't know how to grieve because the relationship was complicated or hard. Here's the thing, there is no right...

Reader, Happy almost 2024! We are nearly there in California. This is a bittersweet day for me. I spent some of it in reflection on a hike in the mountains. I experienced gratitude for the last seven years of time in Los Angeles. It's my 7-year anniversary living here in LA. I've grown and reconnected with myself. I know myself more deeply. I am proud of the woman I am today. If you haven't already, could you create a new year ritual for yourself? This can look like quiet time, writing, being...

Reader, You know that first feeling of meeting someone? You get so excited just thinking about them, fall in love, and before you know it you are celebrating your anniversary together. Somewhere along the way we might wake up and not remember who we are after being in a relationship. It's a common thing actually. We start to lose ourselves in the midst of building a relationship and life with someone else. It's when the break-ups happen we see sometimes massive transformations. People look...
